About The Position
The Park Security Officer is a responsible, knowledgeable, rules-driven person who will enforce regulations and ordinances pertaining to public use of Park District grounds and facilities by conducting routine patrol of designated areas. Additionally, this person will educate the public as to the proper use of district resources and assist with visitor information and interdepartmental service requests.
Requirements
- able to make safe decisions under normal and highly stressful situations
- effectively work with efficiency and little to no direct supervision
- possess a clean driving record and a valid Illinois driver’s license
- have current CPR certification or ability to gain CPR certification
