About The Position

Jovie is an independently owned, community and purpose-driven organization that provides caregivers with training, resources, and support to develop their childcare skills and confidence on the job. Jovie families need your joy, your sense of fun, and your childcare know-how. Jovie has helped thousands of parents find childcare with full or part-time nannies and sitters and emergency back-up care. This specific role is for a Tuesday/Thursday Sitter in University City, MO. The family is seeking a consistent and reliable caregiver for their three children (ages 9 months, 2 years, and 4 years). The weekly shifts are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm. Mornings will involve caring for the 9-month-old and 2-year-old, and afternoons will include all three children. The family desires to establish a relationship with a sitter who is looking for a long-term placement, anticipating needing services through the end of 2028. The household also has a golden retriever.

Requirements

Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.
Must be willing to transport children as part of duties.
Subject to a mandatory background check.

Share meaningful moments with little ones through play and naptimes.

Become an honorary member of the family by building deep, trusting relationships with parents and kids alike.
