About The Position

Empowered Services provides individualized, one-on-one support in home and community settings for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Our team focuses on person-centered care that promotes independence, respects boundaries, and supports meaningful daily living. We are seeking a thoughtful, patient, and highly communicative entry-level DSP / Caregiver to support a creative, self-employed individual who works in graphic design and video game development. This role is ideal for someone who understands the importance of clear communication, personal space, and pacing activities appropriately. The right provider will offer steady, respectful support while allowing the individual to maintain independence and creative flow. The individual you will be supporting is a creative professional who values clear expectations, structure, and advance notice before activities. They benefit from processing time and gradual transitions and thrive with providers who are respectful, patient, and detail-oriented.
