About The Position
We are seeking a thoughtful, patient, and highly communicative entry-level DSP / Caregiver to support a creative, self-employed individual who works in graphic design and video game development. This role is ideal for someone who understands the importance of clear communication, personal space, and pacing activities appropriately. The right provider will offer steady, respectful support while allowing the individual to maintain independence and creative flow. You will be supporting someone who is a creative professional working in graphic art and game development, values clear expectations, structure, and advance notice before activities, prefers a calm, predictable environment, benefits from processing time and gradual transitions, and thrives with providers who are respectful, patient, and detail-oriented.

- Has a calm, steady, and patient demeanor
- Is highly communicative and reliable
- Understands the importance of boundaries and personal space
- Can adapt to another person’s pace rather than rushing tasks
Nice To Haves
- Experience in mental health support
- Experience in behavioral health
- Experience in Caregiving / DSP work
- Experience in the mental health field is strongly preferred

- The provider should be comfortable supporting someone who values independence and autonomy in their work
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 in-home and community-based support
- Assist with planning and preparing for activities and appointments
- Communicate clearly about timelines, expectations, and changes
- Support daily routines while respecting independence and workspace boundaries
- Offer calm guidance without being intrusive or overly directive
