Our customers trust us to deliver complex, highly regulated products that must work right the first time. As a Site Technical Training Supervisor, you’ll play a pivotal role in making that happen. This is a hands-on, high-impact position where you’ll drive workforce readiness, elevate training effectiveness, and ensure employees are fully prepared to perform in a fast-paced, precision-driven manufacturing environment. You’ll partner across Operations, Quality, Engineering, and HR to ensure training programs not only meet requirements but actively support performance, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3–5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing or a related production environment.
  • Experience supporting training, onboarding, or skill development activities in a manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to deliver hands-on training and effectively communicate technical concepts.
  • Ability and willingness to obtain and maintain IPC Certified Instructor (CIT) certification(s), as required.
  • Demonstrated hands-on electronics manufacturing capability (e.g., soldering and workmanship proficiency), or the ability to develop proficiency to meet certification requirements.
  • Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS), including training assignments, tracking, and reporting, or the ability to quickly develop proficiency.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across departments.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in a technical, manufacturing, training, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5 or more years of experience in electronics manufacturing or related environments.
  • Experience facilitating or coordinating formal training activities or programs.
  • Current IPC Certified Instructor (CIT) certification in one or more applicable IPC standards.
  • Experience working in regulated, customer-driven, or certification-based manufacturing environments.
  • Experience partnering with Human Resources, Operations, Quality, or site leadership.
  • Prior experience providing guidance or informal leadership to others.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the site-level owner for the execution of training activities, ensuring alignment with corporate standards, operational needs, and applicable regulatory or customer requirements.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute site training programs, including onboarding, job-specific skills training, compliance training, and ongoing employee development, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with site leadership, Human Resources, department managers, and subject matter experts to support identification of training needs and assist in training needs analyses and prioritization efforts.
  • Support Operations, Quality, and Engineering in assessing training impacts resulting from process changes, engineering changes (ECOs), new equipment, or customer requirements, and coordinate updates or retraining as needed.
  • Coordinate and support new hire onboarding activities with Human Resources, ensuring training requirements are scheduled, completed, documented, and aligned with expected timelines.
  • Own and administer the site Learning Management System (LMS), including training assignments, tracking, reporting, and data accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate, audit-ready training records and support internal audits, customer visits, and regulatory reviews by providing training documentation and support.
  • Support maintenance of training-related skills matrices, certification tracking, and employee qualification status to ensure workforce readiness and flexibility.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining training curriculum and materials (e.g., presentations, job aids), and deliver instructor-led, on-the-job, and other training using effective instructional methods.
  • Monitor training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance indicators, and support implementation of improvements as needed.
  • Provide day-to-day direction and support to employees and trainers participating in training activities to ensure consistent execution.
  • Obtain, maintain, and apply IPC Certified Instructor (CIT) certification(s), as required by site operations, customer requirements, or business needs.
  • Assist in ensuring training materials accurately reflect approved procedures, policies, and process documentation.
  • Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
