About The Position

We are seeking a Site Supervisor for one of our Vancouver, BC facilities. This role involves leading a team of janitorial staff to ensure high-quality cleaning services are delivered, adhering to our standards for safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of experience in the facility services industry in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning industry best practices, including cleaning processes, environmentally sustainable products, tools, equipment, and machinery.
• Demonstrated people management, planning, and organizational skills.
• Ability to problem-solve and meet unforeseen demands.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and ability to use technology tools.
• Must pass a Police Background Check.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to stand and/or walk throughout the duration of the shift.
• Ability to bend, stretch, lift, push, pull, carry, and climb stairs.
• Ability to operate equipment when required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada, without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Ensure exceptional customer service through regular communication with onsite representatives, timely response to service quality issues, and fostering a service-oriented culture.
• Prepare shift schedules and work assignments to meet contract requirements and ensure efficient service delivery.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment by ensuring all employees follow safe operating policies and procedures.
• Provide support for training new employees.
• Order supplies, tools, and equipment, and manage a preventative maintenance program.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleaning standards are met.
• Support with cleaning duties.
• Manage communication via radio.
• Perform other duties as reasonably required.
