Requirements

• 2-3 years of related work and supervisory experience in large inbound warehouse or distribution center environments.
• Excellent customer relationship skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
• Hands-on experience with warehouse equipment and ability to roll up your sleeves and pitch in with the team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience in maintaining safety standards and compliance.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

• 2-3 years of 3rd Party Logistic experience desired.
• Forklift certification and experience preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise and evaluate warehouse personnel on the dock, ensuring smooth daily operations, efficient load handling, and the safe use of equipment.
• Quickly form effective working relationships with warehouse staff and drivers. Your ability to connect and communicate will drive team cohesion and operational success.
• Work closely with the customer, managing and growing the relationship.
• Maintain the highest standards of safety through observations, incident reporting, and compliance with all safety protocols. Your vigilance will ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
• Oversee work procedures, prepare schedules, and expedite workflow to meet client requirements. Your focus on efficiency will enhance productivity and service quality.
• Work closely with the Site Manager to interview, hire, and train new employees. Lead training initiatives to improve employee performance and morale, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and skill development.
• Be a natural problem solver, addressing operational challenges with innovative solutions and proactive strategies to maintain seamless operations.
