About The Position

Mozaic (a Chapter of The Arc NY) is searching for a Site Supervisor for Day Hab/Day Services in Seneca County to join our growing team of professionals. This position is responsible for the direct supervision of assigned Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and ensures compliance with regulations and agency policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Two years supervisory or leadership experience required.
• Basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• Three years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision, training, and mentoring of Direct Support Professional (DSP) staff.
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, agency policies, and procedures.
• Safeguarding the rights of program participants at all times.
• Ensuring that activities and supports are implemented in accordance with each individual's Life Plan.
• Planning and coordinating daily program activities.
• Verifying that assigned staff receive all required training to effectively carry out DSP responsibilities.
• Monitoring adherence to agency standards.
• Following the program budget.
• Maintaining accurate financial documentation.
• Fostering positive, professional relationships with individuals' families and guardians, local businesses, and community service providers.
