About The Position

ACET is seeking talented Site Supervisor / Program Manager (F/A-18 E/F Aircraft) personnel. This position is awaiting contract award. The Site Supervisor / Program Manager is the senior contractor representative responsible for the direct leadership, execution, and contract performance of Organizational 'O' Level Maintenance Support for the F/A-18E/F aircraft assigned to the VFC-12 Fighter Squadron Composite Twelve ('Fighting Omars') at Naval Air Station Oceana. This high-impact role combines comprehensive technical oversight, program governance, and direct communication with Navy command leadership to maintain maximum aircraft tactical availability and contract execution safety standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8–10+ years of military or defense contractor aviation maintenance experience, with at least 5 years serving in a supervisory, maintenance control, or program management role.
  • Possess deep technical familiarity with the F/A-18E/F platforms, specifically in organizational 'O' level maintenance architectures.
  • Must hold and maintain an active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security Clearance, along with all local installation access credentials for NAS Oceana.
  • Highly proficient with Naval Aviation databases (NALCOMIS OOMA, DECKPLATE, AMSRR), configuration logging systems, and standard business enterprise tools (Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Mastery in reading complex aerospace electrical wiring diagrams, structural blue prints, maintenance requirement cards (MRCs), and Technical Directives (TDs).

Nice To Haves

  • Prior U.S. Navy / Marine Corps senior enlisted or officer leadership background within aviation maintenance (e.g., Master Chief/Senior Chief AM, AD, AE, AT, or Maintenance Officer) is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate a multi-disciplinary team of up to 50+ aerospace mechanics, technicians, and quality assurance personnel to fulfill all requirements outlined in the contract's Performance Work Statement (PWS).
  • Oversee all tactical daily launch, recovery, scheduled phase checks, and un-scheduled 'O' level maintenance actions to safely meet the dynamic VFC-12 fleet-readiness flight schedule.
  • Serve as the contract's principal Subject Matter Expert (SME) to Commander, Naval Air Forces Reserve (CNAFR) and local squadron leadership on critical logistical matters, component constraints, and structural issues.
  • Enforce strict execution of the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP / COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 series) and company directives across all functional shops, guaranteeing maintenance integrity.
  • Verify accurate and prompt entry of maintenance actions, inspection sign-offs, and supply constraints into naval enterprise systems including NALCOMIS OOMA, AMSRR, and DECKPLATE.
  • Develop robust long-range maintenance plans, resource allocation timelines, and aircraft technical modification maps to mitigate aircraft downtime during complex inspections.
  • Manage and evaluate specialized flight line initiatives, notably the Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention program, Tool Control Program (TCP), and workplace hazard mitigation.
  • Track operational budgets, analyze material consumption rates, manage supply chain replenishment priorities, and sign off on contractor workforce labor accounting.
