About The Position

Custom Concrete is seeking an experienced and driven Site Superintendent with strong structural concrete experience to support our continued growth in the commercial construction market. This role is critical to the successful execution of our projects and serves as the primary onsite representative for Custom Concrete with general contractors and project partners. The Site Superintendent is responsible for day-to-day field operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the high standards of quality that define Custom Concrete.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Site Superintendent or field leader with a strong emphasis on structural concrete work
  • Proven experience with foundations, walls, slabs, and site concrete in commercial construction
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage crews and coordinate with project partners
  • A hands-on, solutions-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic
  • Commitment to quality, safety, and professionalism

Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, coordinate, and manage labor, equipment, and materials for assigned projects
  • Lead and oversee structural concrete construction, including foundations, walls, slabs, and site concrete
  • Ensure all work complies with project plans, specifications, and industry standards
  • Monitor production schedules and proactively address issues to meet deadlines
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with general contractors and maintain clear, professional communication
  • Conduct daily inspections of work in progress and completed work to ensure quality craftsmanship
  • Order materials, equipment, and tooling as needed to maintain workflow
  • Actively lead, guide, and direct field crews through hands-on involvement and visible leadership
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site in compliance with company and OSHA safety standards
  • Ensure proper safety practices, incident reporting, and hazard mitigation; report concerns to the Safety Director
  • Perform supervisory and field duties in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, snow, and muddy environments
