Intern, Site Safety

Gray Construction is currently looking for a Site Safety Intern for the Summer of 2027. Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a 4 year degree in Occupational Safety and Health or other related field of study.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Knowledge of construction safety and OSHA requirements.
- Proficient computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, Microsoft Office software and e-mail.
- We need an energetic, self-motivated individual who enjoys a team environment, as well as a passion for collaboration and professional development.
- This position requires travel as our projects are scattered throughout the United States and, in some cases outside of the U.S.. The selected candidate can live anywhere in the USA, but would be required to travel to the project site per Gray’s travel policy.
- Gray internships are open to students legally authorized to work in the U.S. that do not need current and/or future visa sponsorship or work status authorization for employment.

- Previous Safety internship experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform various departmental and field assignments.
- Participate in field safety walks.
- Assist team members with various duties assigned.
- Oversee safety and health of personnel working on jobsites.
- Providing corrective action recommendations.
- Update various records, files and procedures, as assigned.
- Participate in various job related activities as assigned.
- Other duties may be assigned.
