About The Position

Within our Business Services vertical, we offer a multitude of solutions focused on helping businesses of all sizes drive higher revenue growth, maximize operational efficiencies, and improve customer experience. Our solutions help our customers solve difficult problems in the areas of Anti-Money Laundering/Counter Terrorist Financing, Identity Authentication & Verification, Fraud and Credit Risk mitigation and Customer Data Management. This is a professional management level role. Individuals are required to provide line management to a small to medium sized team of engineers, including authority over performance management, pay, and recruitment. They will ensure that tasks and projects are prioritized appropriately and provide support to team members when tasks are blocked. They will support engineers in their personal development and ensure they are working within the SRE framework. They will lead the post-mortem reviews and the timely production of RCAs. They address issues with impact beyond their own team based on knowledge of related disciplines.

Requirements

Leadership/design of application and/or infrastructure migration projects from on-prem to cloud
Proven expert in partnering and leading technology resources in solving complex business needs
Cloud architecture design and implementation to solve key business needs and meet team goals
Experience with Terraform and GitHub Actions

Responsibilities

Deliver cloud-native solutions and patterns that are highly elastic.
Empower stakeholders and reduce toil through self-service pipelines.
Mentor your team in solving deep technical issues, advanced cloud infrastructure topics, and complex coding problems.
Set an example of methodical, systematic task execution for your team.
Work with project managers and stakeholders to provide status and reporting.
Act as an ambassador to other teams, finding common ground and defining clear agreements.
Drive projects to schedule.
Perform code reviews with an eye toward rigor and best practice.
Apply continuous process improving techniques across the operation.
Automate everything.
Ensure that everything is IAC, and that your team’s infra can be rebuilt from the ground up without relying on manual configurations or the Azure/AWS Portal.
