Site Operations Capacity Analyst

FluidstackAustin, TX
$132,000 - $192,000

About The Position

Fluidstack is seeking a Site Operations Capacity Analyst to join their Supply Chain Team. This role is crucial for modeling and tracking capacity across the fleet, including power, space, and cooling, to ensure allocation decisions are data-driven. The analyst will monitor capacity consumption against plans, identify potential constraints well in advance, and build reporting that links deployment schedules to sellable capacity for commercial and leadership teams. Additionally, the role involves running scenario analyses for deal and allocation decisions, determining what fits where, by when, and at what displacement. Fluidstack's mission is to make humanity more free by building civilization-scale infrastructure for AI. They are focused on delivering massive amounts of compute infrastructure faster than anyone else by rethinking every layer of the stack, from acquiring power to designing, building, and operating data centers. The company values extreme ownership, velocity, first principles thinking, and a passion for the problem space, often requiring long hours at high intensity to push the frontier forward.

Requirements

  • Have done capacity, utilization, or demand analysis for infrastructure, data centers, cloud, or heavy industry.
  • Build models in SQL or Python that others rely on, and version them like it matters.
  • Translate analysis into a one-page answer an executive can act on.
  • Chase down data quality problems to the source instead of footnoting them.

Nice To Haves

  • Data center capacity planning.
  • Power systems knowledge.
  • BI tooling (Tableau, Looker, Hex).
  • Cloud capacity or fleet economics.

Responsibilities

  • Model capacity across the fleet: power, space, cooling, and compute, so allocation decisions run on numbers, not recollection.
  • Track capacity consumption against plan and flag constraints quarters before they bind.
  • Build the reporting that connects deployment schedules to sellable capacity for commercial and leadership.
  • Run scenario analysis for deal and allocation decisions: what fits where, by when, at what displacement.

Benefits

  • Commitment to pay equity and transparency.
  • Equal Employment Opportunity Employer status.
