About The Position

Join our fast-growing beauty brand and become a key member of our expanding ecommerce team. We are seeking a highly organized, analytically minded Manager of Site Operations & Merchandising who sits at the intersection of site operations and digital merchandising. This role owns the day-to-day functionality of OSEA.com while shaping the way our products are discovered, ranked, and experienced by customers. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of ecommerce experience, a passion for clean beauty, hands-on Shopify expertise, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This is a fully remote role. Must reside in the United States to be considered for this position.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in ecommerce, site merchandising, or digital operations (beauty or wellness industry preferred)
  • Hands-on Shopify experience required
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to pull reports, identify trends, and translate data into clear recommendations
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally across Creative, CX, and broader Ecommerce teams
  • Experience managing third-party app integrations and vendor relationships, including evaluating tools, overseeing implementations, and maintaining ongoing partnerships to support site functionality and merchandising goals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must reside in the United States to be considered for this position

Nice To Haves

  • familiarity with Shopify Flows and back-end product management is a strong plus
  • Experience with A/B testing, personalization, heatmapping, and site analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar, or similar) is a strong plus.
  • Experience utilizing AI tools to streamline workflows and improve efficiency

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage discount codes, promotions, and product-level configurations in Shopify
  • Own product tagging and catalog management to ensure consistent, well-organized site architecture
  • Own on-site inventory data and coordinate with relevant teams to address discrepancies and communicate updates to relevant cross functional partners.
  • Build and maintain Shopify Flows to automate key tasks and streamline operations
  • Partner with the Customer Experience team to identify, triage, and resolve site bugs and functionality issues, escalating to developers and external partners as needed
  • Manage third-party app relationships and integrations, serving as the primary point of contact for vendors, overseeing tool performance, and troubleshooting issues in coordination with engineering and external partners as needed.
  • Maintain and execute a site merchandising calendar aligned to product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns, ensuring on-site presentation reflects key moments and is delivered on time and on brand.
  • Manage product ranking and presentation across homepage, collection, category pages, and blogs to drive conversion and support key campaign initiatives.
  • Configure and optimize cross-sell and upsell logic to support average order value and product discovery
  • Curate and refine on-site product recommendation placements to create a personalized, intuitive shopping experience
  • Own search results optimization — improving relevance, surfacing the right products, and minimizing zero-result experiences
  • In partnership with engineering teams, optimize site metadata and content to improve search engine visibility and drive organic traffic.
  • Maintain and refine top navigation and filtering to reflect current assortment, campaigns, and customer needs
  • Own site behavior reporting, delivering regular analysis on merchandising performance, search trends, and on-site engagement to inform strategy and make recommendations on site enhancements and A/B testing opportunities.
  • Partner closely with the growth marketing team to optimize key pages for paid traffic.
  • Collaborate with the product marketing team on new site features, collections, and content to support key collections and hero SKUs.
  • Support the development and execution of A/B testing strategies and site roadmaps in partnership with the Director of Ecommerce.
  • Support onsite content strategy, including briefing in of new site assets to support product launches, promotions and evergreen brand campaigns.

Benefits

  • The anticipated salary range for this position is $85,000–$110,000 per year.
