About The Position

We are looking for a detail-oriented Site Merchandiser to support the day-to-day merchandising and optimization of our eCommerce website for Timberland Americas. This role is responsible for ensuring products are effectively presented online, supporting campaigns, and helping deliver a seamless shopping experience that drives sales and customer engagement. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of online retail, product presentation, and data-driven merchandising and thrives in a fast-paced digital environment. This is a hybrid role, working 3 days per week at Timberland headquarters (Stratham, NH).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Familiarity with eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or similar.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using Excel, Google Sheets, or analytics tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced digital environment.
  • Self-motivated with strong communication skills.
  • Experience and understanding with Content Management Systems, SEO and product taxonomy, Product Information Management (PIM) Systems, and knowledge of HTML or site merchandising tools.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing the daily merchandising of the ecommerce site, including category pages, product listings, and promotion placements.
  • Upload and maintain product information, images, pricing, and attributes to ensure accuracy of completeness.
  • Support the execution of site campaigns, promotions, and seasonal launches.
  • Monitor site performance and analyze sales, conversion rates, and customer behavior to identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Maintain product sorting and category organization to maximize product visibility and sales.
  • Partner with marketing, creative, product teams, and UX to ensure timely and accurate content updates.
  • Conduct regular site audits and QA checks to ensure product pages, links, and promotions function correctly.
  • Assist w/ A/B Testing and merchandising experiments to improve site performance.
  • Track competitor websites and industry trends to identify merchandising opportunities.
  • Support the preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports.
  • Identify and execute opportunities and technology roadmap initiatives to drive best in class and relevant experience for Timberland consumer. Examples include navigation, badging, video, shopping tools, content placement, and personalization.
