About The Position
Centurion is seeking a Primary Care Physician to serve as the Site Medical Director at Indiana Women's Prison in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Physician provides clinical direction to meet service delivery requirements, offers direct clinical services to patients, and provides clinical supervision for medical staff at the assigned site(s) under the supervision of the Statewide Medical Director. The Site Medical Director will collaborate with the Health Services Administrator to ensure efficient and clinically appropriate medical services and will participate in committees such as Continuous Quality Improvement, Infection Prevention and Control, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics as requested.
Requirements
- MD/DO - internal medicine, family medicine, emergency medicine or OBGYN
- Active, unrestricted IN license
- Active, unrestricted DEA
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical direction to meet service delivery requirements of the assigned site(s).
- Provide direct clinical services for patients.
- Provide clinical supervision for medical staff of assigned site(s).
- Collaborate with Health Services Administrator at the site to ensure efficient and clinically appropriate medical services.
- Participate in various committees including Continuous Quality Improvement, Infection Prevention and Control, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics as requested.
