About The Position

The Site Manager provides a superior i9 Sports Experience and oversees game-day operations at a basketball venue in Kailua. This high-energy, organized role requires strong problem-solving skills and a focus on customer service, safety, fun, and sportsmanship. The ideal candidate has experience working with children and is interested in learning sports management. The role requires a varied schedule, including weekends and some evenings, throughout the approximately seven-week season. Season dates are September 19–October 31.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Highly motivated self-starter who can work independently and solve problems.
• Awareness and ability to take charge of situations to ensure player safety.
• Positive attitude and strong ability to build professional relationships.
• Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends and some evenings, for the full duration of the approximately seven-week season.
• Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check.
• Able to lift 35 lbs or more overhead.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down the gym for game-day events.
• Keep score during games.
• Manage and supervise volunteer coaches.
• Supervise overall venue operations and ensure programs run on schedule.
• Demonstrate core concepts, including sportsmanship values.
• Organize game-day equipment and ensure the venue is clean.
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills.
