About The Position

The Site Manager provides a superior i9 Sports Experience and oversees game-day operations at a venue. This high-energy, organized role calls for strong problem-solving skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to customer service. The ideal candidate has experience working with children and is interested in learning sports management. The position supports youth basketball activities in Pearl City.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Be a highly motivated self-starter who can work independently and solve problems.
• Have the awareness and ability to take charge of situations to ensure player safety.
• Have a positive attitude and the ability to build professional relationships.
• Be able to work a varied schedule, including weekends and some evenings, for the full season of approximately seven weeks.
• Pass a National Criminal Background Check.
• Be able to lift 35 pounds or more overhead.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down the gym for game-day events.
• Keep score.
• Manage and supervise volunteer coaches.
• Oversee venue operations and ensure programs run on schedule.
• Demonstrate core concepts, including sportsmanship values.
• Organize game-day equipment and ensure the venue is clean.
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills.
