About The Position

The Site Manager provides a superior i9 Sports Experience and oversees game-day operations at a venue for i9 Sports Honolulu’s youth basketball programs. The role involves preparing and maintaining the venue, keeping games on schedule, supervising volunteer coaches, and supporting a safe, fun environment that reflects the organization’s sportsmanship values. Ideal candidates enjoy working with children, are interested in learning sports management, and bring strong customer service skills. The season runs from October 3 through November 21, with a schedule that includes weekends and some evenings for approximately seven weeks. Compensation is $16.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Highly motivated self-starter who can work independently and solve problems.
• Awareness and ability to take charge of situations to ensure player safety.
• Positive attitude and ability to build professional relationships.
• Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends and some evenings, for the full season of approximately seven weeks.
• Must pass a National Criminal Background Check.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds or more overhead.

Nice To Haves
