About The Position

Visit.org is looking for a passionate, high-velocity Site Lead to own and scale our fulfillment and logistics operations. In this role, you will be the operational engine powering regional social impact events. You will take full accountability for facility operations, inventory accuracy, vendor management, and team leadership, translating our mission into seamless, data-driven execution. Requirements

  • 2 to 3 years of supervisory experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, or fulfillment.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a team in a hands-on operational environment.
  • Experience identifying inefficiencies and implementing SOPs or process improvements to enhance warehouse operations.
  • Experience with picking, packing, shipping, and basic warehouse supervision.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems or warehouse management tools.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, particularly spreadsheets.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end facility operations: Plan, direct, and take full accountability for all warehouse activities supporting Visit.org’s global social impact events, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Build a high-performing team: Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse staff and local leadership. Provide day-to-day direction, continuous performance feedback, and training to foster an agile, startup-minded culture.
  • Drive KPI improvements: Actively measure and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Standardize and scale workflows: Identify operational inefficiencies and spearhead initiatives to build, document, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that scale with our global growth.
  • Financial & budget accountability: Manage the financial performance of the site by controlling labor costs, keeping expenses aligned with budgets, and assisting with cost tracking and reporting.
  • End-to-end inventory management: Maintain an organized layout and absolute inventory accuracy within our management systems through regular audits, stock monitoring, and tech-driven tracking tools.
  • Heavy logistics & palletization: Oversee the execution of complex logistics, including sourcing materials, tracking global shipments, and handling heavy palletized shipments (building, wrapping, and moving pallets for outbound freight).
  • Internal partner alignment: Act as the primary liaison for internal teams regarding event supply needs, ensuring logistics timelines match event schedules seamlessly.
