Site Lead
About The Position
We are seeking a Site Lead at Hartford Elementary School to help create a fun, structured, and enriching experience for students. This individual will work alongside the Site Coordinator and other Site Leads, providing leadership and support. Additionally, the Site Lead will assist in maintaining a safe, positive, and engaging environment for all children. Our mission and core values are brought to life by our culture. Requirements
- Experience working with children in an educational, camp, or childcare setting for at least 1 year.
- Classroom management and behavior management experience.
- Ability to effectively supervise children during daily activities.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Responsibilities
- Collaborate and support daily lesson plans and activities.
- Effectively manage student behaviors using positive reinforcement and classroom management strategies.
- Help implement the daily schedule, ensuring all activities run on time and transitions are smooth.
- Ensure the safety and supervision of all children at all times.
- Encourage participation and foster a positive, inclusive environment where all students feel valued.
- Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and guardians as needed.
- Assist with program logistics, including setup, cleanup, and organization of materials.
- Model professionalism and enthusiasm, setting a positive example for students and staff.
