About The Position

As a Site Laboratory Specialist at PSI, you will support clinical study laboratory activities at participating sites. The role includes reviewing study documents, assisting with site selection and initiation, supporting laboratory operations and communication, monitoring site-level laboratory performance, and developing and delivering training on laboratory procedures and best practices.

Requirements

• University or college degree in Life Sciences.
• Full working proficiency in English.
• At least 4 years of experience working in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a team setting as well as independently as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Spanish language skills.
• Prior clinical research industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Review study documents related to laboratory support.
• Support site selection and site initiation activities on laboratory-related matters.
• Support sites with laboratory kit orders, patient eligibility checks, laboratory query resolution, and completion of laboratory qualification questionnaires.
• Develop and implement project- and site-specific laboratory control documents and guidelines.
• Monitor laboratory metrics and KPIs at the site level.
• Support communication among laboratories, sites, and the PSI project team.
• Support the development of patient enrolment strategies.
• Develop and deliver training to the study team and/or clinical sites on laboratory procedures and best practices.
