About The Position

This role supports inventory management in the receipt, disbursement, labeling, placement, and distribution of materials to supply or staging areas throughout the Rahway site. The Site Inventory Coordinator will utilize and demonstrate proficiency with computer database systems that support and facilitate the entire procurement and inventory management program, as well as any other supporting computer systems. This position involves performing data entry and queries, maintenance, and reconciliation of inventory levels. The coordinator will also sample various production materials and chemicals for quality evaluation and handle associated paperwork. Additionally, they will perform shipping material identification or status control labels and prepare documents according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) instructions, regulations, or established procedures. The role includes loading and unloading trailers, ensuring the storage and delivery of materials, waste, and equipment usage. Maintaining all safety equipment and performing documented periodic safety and GMP inspections are key responsibilities. The Site Inventory Coordinator is responsible for the appropriate notification of safety, environmental, and regulatory non-compliance, and will receive specific EHS training prior to handling EHS materials. General area housekeeping is also a part of the role.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or higher
  • Performs all general area housekeeping.
  • Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, stoop, squat, twist, climb steps, and don & wear personal protective equipment.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
