About The Position

A Site Improvement Coordinator at KO Construction will use analytical and organizational skills to support relationships with key stakeholders, draft benchmarks for deliverables, and manage work assignments within budget and deadlines. The role involves proactive troubleshooting throughout the construction and development process, managing organizational processes for document management, coordinating interdepartmental communications, and acting as a liaison to ensure project completion.

  • An Associate or Bachelor’s degree in one of the following or related areas: Engineering, Construction Management, Real Estate, and Urban Planning

Responsibilities

  • Provide project coordination for new construction projects and facility expansion activities
  • Source, manage, and provide quality control of subcontractors for all work pertinent to construction projects including, but not limited to: Preliminary planning and budgeting, Civil / Site Design, Permitting, zoning, land disturbance and variances, Survey work, Site prep, earthwork, and excavation, Concrete, electrical and fencing, Pre-engineered buildings
  • Provide document management services and creation of files for internal communication, permits issued and standard operating procedures
  • Review civil, structural, and stormwater management plans with project manager
  • Negotiate contracts with external vendors
  • Coordinate on-site activity: materials staging, site management and access
  • Work closely with jobsite personnel to ensure project milestones and other requirements are clear and documented
  • Support the invoicing of assigned projects and construction draws as necessary
  • Provide transparent and proactive communication through all stages of the project to all involved parties
  • Responsible for project management metrics tracked on weekly basis
