As a Site HSE professional, you will ensure that legal requirements and other requirements of Valeo Group are identified, established, and implemented. You will also ensure that the management system put in place contributes to continuous improvement in performance. In accordance with country regulations, Group requirements, and certified Management System, the role of the HSE Professional/Engineer is to organize and manage all internal and external risks. This includes checking safety and security equipment compliance, carrying out risk analysis and regulatory surveys, establishing and overseeing site "Health, Safety, Security and Environment" operation procedures, conducting inspections and internal audits, and implementing and monitoring actions for non-compliance. The role also involves staying aware of legislative developments and escalating potential non-compliance. Technically, the role ensures buildings, processes, equipment, and materials present minimal hazard through upstream project involvement, HSE specification issuance, and continuous auditing. It involves planning and monitoring corrective/preventive actions and acting as a Valeo Work Coordinator and Ergonomics Leader. Organizationally, the role analyzes and updates regulatory compliance, performs risk assessments for all HSE fields (including emergency and non-prescribed work), sets up manuals and procedures, ensures safety tools and standards are adapted and applied, communicates internally and externally on HSE issues, assesses and monitors safety risks from deviations, and monitors incidents and accidents using QRQC. Behaviorally, the role involves developing manager safety skills through various tools and training people to react in emergency situations.
