About The Position

FanSided is seeking a Site Expert for Death Valley Voice, a site focused on the LSU Tigers. The role involves building a strong community, producing daily fresh content, and being a leading voice in LSU Tigers fandom. Site Experts are expected to offer a blend of news and opinionated analysis, providing unique content not found elsewhere. While FanSided offers support, the Site Expert will strategize content efforts, potentially with a co-expert. Compensation is based on article traffic and overall site traffic, with rates varying by traffic, expert experience, and site.

Requirements

Must be able to write clearly and effectively in English.
Ability to lead a site that publishes a minimum of 50 total articles each calendar month.
Ability to personally write a minimum of 20 articles each month.
Ability to support contributors by editing their articles, offering feedback, and suggesting topic ideas.
Ability to help with the site’s social media accounts (typically Twitter and Facebook) by sharing articles and creatively engaging with other fans.

Provide readers with fresh daily content.
Be viewed as the most knowledgeable on LSU Tigers fandom.
Offer readers a healthy mix of news and opinionated analysis.
Ensure readers are offered something they can't read elsewhere.
Lead a site that publishes a minimum of 50 total articles each calendar month.
Personally write a minimum of 20 articles each month (most write 25-30).
