About The Position
FanSided is seeking a Site Expert for The Canuck Way, a website dedicated to the Vancouver Canucks. The role involves building a strong community, providing daily, fresh content, and being a leading voice in Canucks knowledge. Site Experts are expected to offer a blend of news and opinionated analysis, creating unique content that readers cannot find elsewhere. While FanSided offers support, the Site Expert will strategize content efforts. Compensation is based on article traffic and overall site traffic, with rates varying by traffic, expert experience, and the specific site. The role requires publishing a minimum of 50 articles per month, with the Site Expert personally writing 25-30. Responsibilities include editing contributor articles, providing feedback, suggesting topics, and managing the site's social media accounts (Twitter and Facebook) by sharing content and engaging with fans. Strong English writing skills are essential. FanSided is a rapidly expanding digital media network focused on fan-driven content across sports, entertainment, and lifestyle, offering opportunities for both experienced writers and newcomers.

- Help with the site’s social media accounts (typically Twitter and Facebook) by sharing articles.
- Creatively engage with other fans on social media.
