After School Site Directors
About The Position
Leading Edge Before & After School is hiring part-time afternoon Site Directors for its District 11 expansion programs in Colorado Springs, Colorado, for the 2026–2027 school year. The position is approximately 21 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with program hours from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Availability to work mornings may provide additional hours. Pay is $22–$25 per hour, depending on experience, with biweekly pay every other Friday. Site Directors shape their site's culture, lead curriculum and enrichment, mentor staff, oversee daily operations and student safety, maintain compliance with Colorado licensing standards, and partner with school communities. They have flexibility to select and personalize activities within monthly themes and Leading Edge enrichment standards, and the six core labs: Challenge, Art Enrichment, Homework, Physical, Reading, and STEM. Directors collaborate with students, families, staff, and school administrators to keep programs engaging and responsive.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in education or licensed childcare leadership.
- At least 2 years of experience working with school-aged children.
- Must meet or be able to meet Colorado state licensing qualifications.
- Reliable transportation to and from school sites.
- Comfort using technology and web-based systems.

Responsibilities
- Train, mentor, and supervise site staff.
- Oversee daily program operations and student safety.
- Create engaging curriculum and enrichment opportunities aligned with monthly themes and Leading Edge enrichment standards.
- Maintain compliance with Colorado state licensing requirements.
- Ensure appropriate staff-to-student ratios and smooth daily transitions.
- Communicate regularly with families, school staff, and administrators.
- Complete attendance tracking, documentation, and incident reports.
- Support onboarding and coaching of new team members.
- Foster a welcoming, structured, and inclusive environment for students.
- Personalize activities and build community engagement to reflect students' and school communities' interests.
