In this position as Site Director, you will provide overall leadership, administration, and daily operational oversight of The Family Place's Child Development Center, ensuring a safe, nurturing, developmentally appropriate learning environment for children while maintaining full compliance with Texas Health and Human Services (HHSC) Child Care Licensing Minimum Standards, agency policies, and applicable accreditation requirements. You'll lead and develop center staff through recruitment, hiring, training, supervision, and coaching that builds a high-performing team committed to quality early childhood education and trauma-informed care. Oversee center operations including child enrollment and orientation, staff scheduling and assignment based on qualifications, maintaining required child-to-caregiver ratios, coordinating substitute coverage, managing licensing and regulatory compliance, and preparing for inspections and accreditation reviews. Monitor classroom operations to ensure developmentally appropriate curriculum, active supervision, positive behavior guidance, and high-quality learning environments while conducting observations and providing coaching that drives continuous quality improvement. Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, staff, community partners, and regulatory agencies while creating a collaborative, inclusive workplace culture that reflects The Family Place's mission and values. If you're an experienced early childhood education leader with deep knowledge of HHSC licensing standards and best practices, strong supervisory and staff development skills, commitment to trauma-informed care, and passion for supporting children's development during critical early years, this is your opportunity to lead operations at a program that serves vulnerable families while providing a safe haven for children.
