About The Position

Performs duties as assigned by 21st Century Project Coordinator. Maintain accurate daily attendance and report monthly attendance into EZ Reports. Collect Family Data and Surveys during Family Nights. Responsible for monitoring and auditing for DCF compliance daily. Provide leadership and supervision to Recreation Workers for 21st Century related programming.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent and one (1) year of clerical or administrative experience required; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to complete the DCF 40 Hour Introductory Child Care Training and the "Special Needs Appropriate Practices" course within one year of hire date.

Nice To Haves

  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft suite, proficient in email communication, and strong written and verbal communication skills preferred.
  • Some graphic design experience preferred.
  • the CPR/First Aid Certification is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Meet with DCF Counselor and review operational and staff files
  • Maintain DCF Employee Information List
  • Monitor, collect and review DCF Operational files
  • Monitor, collect and review DCF Staff files
  • Add new Staff Files and documentation
  • Audit Monthly- checking for expiration dates
  • Coordinate planning and implementation of daily program and curriculum
  • Academics and enrichment programming
  • Plan and implement academic and enrichment scheduling
  • Develop and maintain a weekly academic program schedule
  • Coordinate with Center Manager to develop and facilitate meetings with Parent Advisory Board
  • Develop and consistently maintain appropriate and professional communication with parents
  • Develop and maintain rotation schedule
  • Train and orient new staff members
  • Plan and execute Family Nights
  • Create Sign in Sheets, Surveys, Agenda/Minutes/Event Flyer
  • Report all Deliverable's to 21st Century Project Coordinator
  • Communicate with Lead Teacher to ensure academic courses are effective and efficient
  • Communicate with Lead Teacher to ensure teachers are reporting according to the admitted schedule
  • Ensure teachers are on task according to their proposed and implemented PBL's
  • Ensure curriculum projects are being completed
  • Manage and control inventory of equipment and supplies
  • Communicate with school personnel to ensure a positive working relationship
  • Perform Student Wellness Checks
  • Maintain Student Profiles - Monthly
  • Attend all Center Staff meetings
  • Provide updates on 21st Century related information
  • Ensure the cleanliness and set up of the rooms utilized
  • Providing all curriculum materials need daily
  • Attend weekly program meetings with 21st Century Project Coordinator
  • Work and communicate extensively with 21st Century Project Coordinator for all program needs
