About The Position
Woolpert is hiring a Site Civil Engineer to join their dynamic Energy Services Team. This position is responsible for supporting civil site projects, typically including grading and earthwork, site access, erosion control, stormwater management, and other documentation to support the client's permitting and construction efforts. Priority will be given to candidates who are interested in civil site projects. The company is unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position, and applicants must already possess work authorization in the country the job is located.
Requirements
- BS in Civil Engineering
- 6+ years of experience
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.)
- Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D (strongly preferred) or MicroStation.
- Ability and willingness to learn and work collaboratively in a team environment, across multiple teams and disciplines.
- Must already possess work authorization in the country the job is located.
Nice To Haves
- Exposure to Autodesk Vehicle Tracking, Bluebeam, HydroCAD, Microsoft Suite, and other relevant software products a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist with plan production.
- Perform and review design calculations.
- Drive quality assurance.
- Support the internal and external project team on a variety of site/civil land development engineering projects.
- Work will vary from project to project, exposing engineers to different practices, allowing them to become well-rounded and find a specialty they have interest in.
