About The Position

Our Blue List Junior Assessor position will involve evaluating unmanned systems (aircraft, ground, water, underwater) and support systems (such as additive and subtractive manufacturing equipment) for compliance with statutory requirements, and cybersecurity requirements set by the Defense Contracts Management Agency (DCMA) and the Department of War. The assessor position requires attention to detail, hardware and software experience, and adaptability for changing requirements, report formats, and research. These positions offer a unique middle ground opportunity to work closely with unmanned systems vendors as well as the government, providing visibility to system design, development, manufacturing, and deployment. This is an onsite position in Charlotte, NC; and may include some, limited, travel to conferences, events, customer sites, or other company facilities.

Requirements

2-3+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity.
Current senior college student in a related major, with internship experience in a related field (in lieu of experience).

Nice To Haves

A B.S. or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or related.
Applied security research experience; conference presentation(s), bug bounty submission(s), blog post(s), GitHub, etc.
