About The Position
Dewberry is seeking a Site/Civil Engineer for its site/civil department in the Orlando, Florida office. The role involves working on varied site/civil design projects, including large- and small-scale residential, multifamily, commercial, and industrial site development. It offers the opportunity to collaborate with a team of professionals and use current technology to help clients solve challenging problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Experience with MicroStation or AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
Nice To Haves
- Previous internship or work experience.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
- Experience with WaterCAD and StormCAD.
Responsibilities
- Design site/civil development elements, including master stormwater management systems, stormwater collection systems and grading, utility master and detailed systems, and roadways.
- Prepare associated calculations, reports, and spreadsheets.
- Work with design teams on all aspects of projects to develop detailed design documents, calculations, and construction plans.
- Conduct code and project-related research, write specifications, and process permits as needed.
