About The Position

Covenant is seeking a Site Administrator (General Manager) who leads with compassion, integrity, and a deep commitment to service. This role is ideal for a values‑driven leader who has built their career in hospitality, service, operations, or people‑centered environments and is motivated by making a meaningful impact in the lives of others. Reporting to the Senior Director of Operations, the Site Administrator (General Manager) is accountable for the overall culture, experience, and performance of the site. You will champion a welcoming, respectful, and resident‑centered environment while ensuring strong operations, engaged teams, and high standards of care and service. Healthcare experience is an asset but not required. We are looking for leaders who bring strong operations, hospitality, or people‑leadership experience, and who are eager to apply those skills in a care‑focused setting. The Site Administrator (General Manager) will model the organization’s mission, vision, and values, consistently representing Covenant professionally and positively, collaborate effectively as a professional team player, supporting the achievement of Covenant’s mission, vision, and values, and engage and mobilize teams to fulfill Covenant’s mission, vision, values, and strategic objectives. The Site Administrator (General Manager) will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring the organization meets its financial and operational goals. This leadership role requires strong decision-making skills, business acumen, and the ability to inspire teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, Commerce, Management, or a related field
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
  • Proven experience in a senior management or General Manager role
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Excellent financial management and analytical abilities
  • Ability to make sound strategic decisions under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional judgment
  • Knowledge of provincial continuing care legislation and standards
  • Experience with healthcare information systems
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively
  • Compassionate, professional, and resident‑focused
  • All employees new to Covenant Care must provide a criminal record check not older than 3 months ahead of your commencement date.
