SIOP Analyst Internship - Summer 2027

About The Position

The SIOP Analyst Intern supports cross-functional teams in tracking the full lifecycle of advanced flight simulator builds, from early engineering design and software integration through hardware assembly and qualification. The role offers hands-on experience with industry-standard scheduling tools to streamline production timelines, evaluate critical paths, and help ensure on-time customer delivery. Interns work alongside FlightSafety International professionals and gain insight into the company’s culture and business philosophy. This is a paid, 10-week internship beginning June 1, 2027, and concluding August 4, 2027. Interns are expected to work 40 hours per week.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program working toward a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher at the time of application; GPA must be included on the resume.
Fundamental knowledge of computer programs, techniques, and concepts relevant to the area of application.
Strong work ethic, self-motivation, a positive and personable manner, and ability to develop relationships.
Excellent critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

Understand the company’s brand, customers, product goals, and service.
Rotate through divisions of responsibility and suggest ways to grow and improve the business.
Research, propose ideas and solutions for designated business-focused projects, and present a final project during the internship.
Engage with customers or clients and provide service and/or sales.
Suggest improvements to customer service and internal processes to management.
Learn and become proficient in internal software systems.
Help track advanced flight simulator builds across engineering design, software integration, hardware assembly, and qualification.
