About The Position

The Simulation Operator operates high-fidelity driving simulation systems to support the development and safety testing of autonomous vehicle systems. The role uses joysticks or gaming-style controllers in real-time testing environments and involves monitoring and logging system behavior, reporting issues or anomalies to engineering teams, and assisting with simulation tasks to train and validate autonomous vehicle technologies. Operators follow detailed protocols and maintain focus during extended test sessions. The position is on-site in Austin, Texas. Rotating shifts include weekends: first shift is 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. and second shift is 2:30 p.m.–11:00 p.m. The posting also notes multiple shifts, including days and evenings, and values flexibility. Requirements

Proficiency with gaming controllers, such as Xbox, PlayStation, or PC joysticks.
