The Simulation Laboratory Coordinator serves as a key technical resource for the Academic Center for Experiential and Applied Learning. This role involves operating and maintaining a variety of simulation technologies, from basic anatomical models to advanced full-body patient simulators and virtual reality surgical simulators. The coordinator is responsible for programming, testing, and running scenarios with faculty instructors, setting up and disassembling equipment for teaching sessions, and ensuring the overall efficiency, safety, and operational status of the lab. Additionally, the position supports research activities by preparing equipment, collecting data, and providing reports, as well as offering technical support for computer-based multimedia systems. The coordinator also assists in training faculty and visitors on simulator functions and manages lab resources, including inventory and equipment maintenance.
