About The Position

N.A.S. Sign Company is seeking a dependable, hardworking Sign Service & Install Technician to join our team full-time. This position involves both shop and field work, including sign installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, fabrication assistance, and emergency service calls. Candidates should be safety-minded, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working outdoors and at heights in all weather conditions. N.A.S. Sign Company is looking for motivated individuals who take pride in quality workmanship, reliability, and teamwork.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in electrical work, sign service, HVAC, technical service, construction, carpentry, or related building trades
• Mechanically inclined
• Comfortable working outdoors and at heights in all weather conditions
• Ability to work on your feet all day
• Comfortable working outdoors in rain, snow, cold, and windy conditions
• Lift and handle 10–50 lb. signs regularly
• Work safely on ladders (10'–25')
• Work safely on bucket trucks (15'–75')
• Work safely on scaffolding
• Work safely on scissor lifts and other aerial equipment
• Use power tools safely and effectively
• Good vision and hand coordination required
• Must be able to drive in all weather conditions
• Must be able to tow and drive trailers
• Learn and follow OSHA sign safety procedures
• Plan and schedule materials and labor weekly
• Knowledge of fasteners and wall construction types
• Basic primary electrical knowledge
• Read and follow written and verbal instructions

Nice To Haves

• Experience with metal fabrication
• Welding experience preferred
• Basic sheet metal layout, fabrication, and welding (MIG/aluminum)
• Plastic fabrication and assembly
• Read blueprints, architectural, structural, and electrical drawings
• Understand structural and installation concepts
• Paint plastics, metals, and wood surfaces
• Neon and fluorescent secondary electrical troubleshooting
