The Sign Fabricator operates effectively in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the timely delivery of orders to customers. This role involves actively participating in the preparation, cutting and mounting of standard ministry signage and custom signage alike. The Sign Fabricator is an integral part of the manufacturing team, delivering quality signage to all customers. Please note that this is a 6 month contract position with the possibility of extention based on Operational Needs.

Requirements

• Highschool diploma or the equivalent
• Proven experience as a labourer
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to use basic power tools
• Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Problem solving skills
• Strong attention to detail

• Previous sign manufacturing experience considered as an asset

Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks on products and parts.
• Review work orders to ensure work is performed according to specifications.
• Cutting and handling of aluminum sheets.
• Assisting in assembly of highway signage.
• Applying graphics to aluminum substrate.
• Proficient/comfortable using equipment, such as table saw, metal shear, grinder.
• Safely control and operate equipment, such as forklifts.
