About The Position

The Shuttle Driver operates a box truck to deliver plants to stores on designated routes, load and unload products safely and efficiently, and merchandise product racks at stores. The role also involves preparing route trucks with plants, operating greenhouse equipment such as forklifts, maintaining route and merchandise records, planning efficient trips, communicating with dispatch and clients, and inspecting the company vehicle. This is seasonal work with many hours during the season, and requires willingness to work at least 5–6 days per week.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Willingness to work a minimum of 5–6 days per week.

Nice To Haves

• Experience driving a box truck is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Drive a box truck to deliver plants to stores on designated routes.
• Load and unload products safely and efficiently.
• Complete route sheets and maintain merchandise logs.
• Plan trips and routes to use time and fuel efficiently.
• Communicate with dispatch and clients about arrivals, departures, and trip interruptions when required.
• Inspect the company vehicle, including checking tire pressure, fluids, and fuel, and promptly report issues.
• Merchandise product racks at stores.
• Follow road rules and company regulations.
• Operate greenhouse equipment, including forklifts.
• Help load daily route trucks with plants.
