Requirements

  • A High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
  • Experience moving 53’, 48’, 45’, 40’, and 20’ trailers.
  • General knowledge of material flow and the distribution process.
  • Previous work experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to carry out tasks independently without constant supervision.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We cannot sponsor or transfer sponsorship of an employment visa.

Nice To Haves

  • A current CDL A License is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Warehouse Management Systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Moving trailers cautiously from the warehouse yard to specified doors and/or relocating trailers from specified doors to assigned parking locations.
  • Conducting yard checks to verify the accuracy of Yard Trailer Inventory.
  • Communicating with both Baxter and non-Baxter drivers to coordinate trailer pick-up and drop-off locations.
  • Handling Bills of Lading (BOL) for outbound shipments and collaborating with onsite Supervisors and personnel in Shipping and Receiving departments.
  • Detailing inventory discrepancies and completing training assignments on time.
  • Assuring compliance with all Regulatory, Environmental, Health, and Safety Requirements, including handling spills, damages, and returns.
  • Performing other tasks as assigned and working overtime if needed.
