About The Position

This is a seasonal position from November 16th, 2026 to April 30th, 2027. Dates are subject to change based on the availability of the applicant and needs of the business. This role comes with a free season pass for you and your dependents. We are currently hiring for winter part time and full time positions starting at $17.50 per hour, plus tips. Days are flexible, work 1-5 days per week. Most shifts vary from 9.0 - 11.5 hours. Drivers must be 21 years old, have a clean driving record, and pass a DOT physical.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years old.
  • Must hold a current state issued Driver’s License and have an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to pass a medical certification test (DOT physical).
  • Must be able to safely drive in adverse conditions.
  • Must be able to problem solve and make safe decisions while driving in adverse conditions.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance required.
  • Alertness, spatial perception, judgment, concentration, patience, near and far acuity, depth perception, field of vision, color vision as well as visual discrimination is required on a daily basis.

Nice To Haves

  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of Purgatory Resort and the surrounding area preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Drive scheduled routes.
  • Perform safe and efficient operation of all transportation vehicles and equipment including: related maintenance, daily record keeping, and safety checks of assigned vehicles or equipment.
  • Provide guests with accurate and up-to-date information relative to all services and special activities.
  • Safely transport employees and guests in company vehicles.
  • Maintain an operating schedule and report any problems immediately.
  • Communicate effectively with guests regarding resort information and concerns/problems.
  • Perform Pre/Post Trip Vehicle Inspection; Ensure vehicles are clean, maintained, and in good working order.
  • Immediately report any problems or maintenance requirements to the Transportation Supervisor.
  • Handle ski/snowboard equipment.
  • Fuel and clean vehicle at the end of every shift.
  • Wash vehicles as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
