About The Position
Local Motion, LLC is seeking Shuttle Drivers to safely transport passengers along designated routes and at scheduled times in the Greater Boston area. Drivers transport clients from pickup points to their destinations, such as between office locations and parking lots. The role includes operating the vehicle safely and punctually, completing pre-trip inspections and post-route child checks, and keeping the vehicle in compliance with DOT regulations. Drivers are expected to provide helpful customer service and maintain a safe, clean, fueled, and presentable shuttle bus.
Requirements
- Hold a 14-passenger DTE Certificate or a valid CDL with passenger endorsement.
- Maintain excellent punctuality and attendance.
- Have strong communication and customer service skills.
- Have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Pick up passengers and transport them between their office location and the parking lot.
- Arrive at collection points before scheduled departure times.
- Maintain a friendly and helpful demeanor.
- Ensure passenger limits are observed, including seated and standing limits.
- Keep the shuttle bus fueled, well-maintained, and presentable.
- Observe applicable traffic and safety laws.
- Perform pre-trip inspections and post-route child checks.
- Keep the vehicle within DOT regulations.
- Plan routes while taking road conditions, detours, and traffic patterns into account.
