About The Position

The Shuttle Driver picks up and delivers food supplies and transports senior passengers. The role is responsible for passenger safety and vehicle upkeep and reports to the Senior Nutrition Program Manager. This is a part-time position with hours that vary Monday through Thursday. Weekly earned wage access is an option.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Must pass a yearly physical, criminal background check, and drug screening.
• Excellent driving record.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver food supplies (commodities) weekly.
• Transport passengers to locations including Choctaw Nation community centers and area events.
• Assist disabled passengers in and out of the vehicle.
• Ensure passenger safety and secure wheelchairs and other mobility devices.
• Lift passengers’ medical equipment, including wheelchairs and walkers.
• Complete driver logs and checklists according to GSA and CNHSA guidelines before and after vehicle use.
• Schedule vehicle maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Keep the vehicle clean after each ride.
• Attend and participate in staff meetings and trainings.
• Assist with housekeeping in the dining area before and after meals when not assigned to transportation.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
