About The Position

Ensures guests are driven between properties in a safe, efficient, and cheerful manner while maintaining a professional presentation as a representative of the company. The role operates a shuttle to pick up and drop off guests and responds to front desk pickup requests for River Lodge, Stone Hill Lodge, Soaky Mountain Waterpark, Cabins, Villas, and Wyndham locations. The driver helps guests on and off the shuttle as needed, keeps the shuttle clean, and turns lost-and-found items in appropriately. Other duties may be assigned by management.

Requirements

• No prior experience or training is required.
• Tennessee driver’s license with an F endorsement, or ability to obtain one within 30 days.
• Ability to be covered by and maintain company insurance.
• Good negotiation and listening skills.
• Ability to act independently with little supervision.
• Good understanding of company policies and procedures.
• Working knowledge of resort amenities and room designs.
• Good attendance and punctuality.
• Professional presentation, good grooming habits, and proper uniform.
• Ability to work efficiently.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; and present information effectively in one-on-one and small-group situations.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic with whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; compute rates, ratios, and percentages; and draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to use common-sense understanding to follow written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions and handle problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to regularly sit, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear; occasionally stand, walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and taste or smell.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
• Distant vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

Responsibilities

• Operate the shuttle between properties to pick up and drop off guests.
• Communicate with people at all levels and help guests on and off shuttles as needed.
• Keep the shuttle clean and deliver lost-and-found items to the appropriate location.
• Respond to front desk requests for guest pickups at River Lodge, Stone Hill Lodge, Soaky Mountain Waterpark, Cabins, Villas, and Wyndham locations.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.
• Follow resort and department policies and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain a professional manner and positive attitude.
