About The Position

Russo Development and Russo Property Management are seeking a customer-service-oriented Shuttle Driver to safely transport property residents to and from public transportation hubs. The role involves regular interaction with residents and leasing staff and helping maintain a first-class experience for the community. The position is at a property in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
2–4 years of commercial driving or passenger transport experience.
Valid CDL driver's license.
Clean driving record and exceptional driving skills.
Experience driving passengers.
Customer-service-first attitude.
Professional and courteous demeanor.
Proactive self-starter who works well as part of a team.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

Operate a passenger bus on a dedicated fixed route.
Work safely in accordance with company safety procedures, County requirements, and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements.
Promote bus and passenger safety by enforcing rules of conduct and operation.
Use etiquette and professionalism in all customer interactions.
Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, check the bus for lost items, and report found items to the Leasing Office.
Provide passengers with schedule and route information and assist passengers who need help boarding or departing the vehicle.
Maintain vehicle equipment, including filling the gas tank and arranging car washes as needed.
Maintain appropriate fluid levels and keep the bus clean.
Promptly report maintenance issues.
Represent Russo Property Management positively by wearing the approved company uniform and fostering positive public relations.
