About The Position

Schaffers Mill in Truckee, California is hiring part-time and full-time seasonal Shuttle Drivers. Drivers provide courteous guest service and safe shuttle transportation, assist with golf bags, follow established routes and operating procedures, and maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the shuttle. The position is expected to last six months or less and pays a flat rate of $30.00 per hour. A CDL is required.

Requirements

High school education or equivalent.
Previous driver and/or customer service experience.
A good driving record as reported by the Department of Transportation.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Successful completion of Shuttle Driver Training.
Ability to promptly follow directions from management and co-workers.
Ability to maintain a smile and courteous disposition toward internal and external customers.
CDL required.

Responsibilities

Greet each customer with a smile.
Safely and securely assist guests with loading golf bags into the shuttle.
Provide prompt, pleasant customer service and satisfaction.
Follow shuttle-driver procedures, including pre-trip inspections, designated routes, accurate record-keeping, and regular, effective radio communication.
Maintain familiarity with Monster Golf Club, Resorts World Catskills, The Kartrite, The Alder, and the general area to answer questions and provide helpful information.
Maintain a clean, pleasant, and calm shuttle environment, following the stated guidelines for windows, approved audio/video, interior lights, air fresheners, dashboard items, and food.
Cooperate with team members to provide the best possible service to internal and external customers.
Comply with applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations and requirements, including Department of Transportation requirements.
Keep all areas of the shuttle clean, including the interior and windows.
Comply with uniform and appearance guidelines.
Follow company policies and procedures in the Employee Handbook.
Perform additional duties reasonably requested by Management, especially during downtimes.
