About The Position

The Shuttle Driver provides safe, reliable transportation for students between designated destinations on a scheduled route. The role requires following a strict schedule, complying with traffic laws and company policies, and delivering a safe, positive experience to current and prospective residents. The Shuttle Driver reports to the General Manager and supports routine vehicle cleaning and maintenance recordkeeping.

Requirements

Be at least 25 years of age.
Have a valid driver’s license.
Have a clean driving record and meet federal and state driving standards.
Follow traffic laws and regulations, as well as Yugo policies and procedures.
Exercise good judgment and operate under time pressure.
Meet OMV vision requirements.
Speak and read English to converse with residents and staff.
Be approachable.
Be willing to work nights.
Hold a Carbon Literacy Certification or be willing to undertake training.

Responsibilities

Operate the shuttle safely and responsibly on a scheduled route to designated destinations.
Follow traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
Inspect the shuttle daily to ensure it is clean and in good working order.
Provide superior service to current and prospective residents.
Assist with routine shuttle cleaning and detailing.
Maintain mileage and maintenance records and monitor fuel and fluid levels.
Assist passengers entering and exiting the vehicle as needed to ensure safe transport.
Enforce federal, state, and company guidelines for shuttle passengers.
