About The Position

WallyPark is seeking a friendly and reliable Shuttle Driver to safely transport airport passengers to and from airport parking facilities while providing warm hospitality and superior customer service. Drivers greet and assist customers, including helping with luggage and assisting passengers with disabilities, answer questions about the facility, airport terminals, rates, services, and promotions, and maintain professional interactions. The role involves vehicle inspections and reporting, safe shuttle operation, communication with dispatchers and supervisors, and compliance with applicable transportation regulations. Drivers may also perform valet duties, wash buses, and help maintain facility cleanliness. The position is based at 1 Scott Way, Lester, PA 19029, and requires availability for all shifts, including holidays. Compensation is $14.63 per hour. Requirements

High school diploma or five years of shuttle-driving experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must possess the appropriate license, endorsements, and/or medical certification to operate a shuttle bus.
Must have a good driving record.
Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently to meet DOT requirements.
Average reading, math, and writing abilities, including interpreting transportation regulations, adding, subtracting, dividing, multiplying, and writing statements or reports.
Knowledge of shuttle bus functions, ADA lifts, wheelchair securement, GPS, video/audio cameras, and proper luggage stowage and securement.
Customer-service ability, including appropriate greetings and etiquette, assisting ADA passengers, handling upset customers, and promoting the company app, benefits, and programs.
Must be willing to pass a physical examination required by airport, federal DOT, and/or state regulations.
Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and meet the described physical demands of the role.
Must be willing to work all shifts, including holidays.

Responsibilities

Safely transport airport passengers between airport parking facilities and airport terminals.
Be available to work all shifts, including holidays, and report to work on time and in uniform.
Conduct shuttle pre-trip inspections, complete inspection forms, report deficiencies, log passenger counts, and complete reports and forms accurately.
Greet customers warmly, provide pleasant customer service, assist with luggage, and respond to customer-service questions and issues.
Demonstrate knowledge of the parking facility, airport terminals, airport roads, and terminal locations to support efficient passenger pick-up and drop-off.
Cooperate with team members and communicate effectively with other drivers, dispatchers, supervisors, and the supervisor on duty.
Answer inquiries about rates, services, and promotions.
Use professional etiquette in customer and workplace interactions.
Load and unload customer luggage and assist passengers with disabilities.
Use defensive and safe driving techniques and comply with federal, state, and local regulations for passenger transportation.
Maintain a clean and orderly shuttle bus.
Report operational issues involving customers, airport conditions, roads, or traffic, and report all incidents and accidents to the supervisor on duty.
Perform valet duties, bus washing, and facility-cleanliness tasks as needed.
Provide customer satisfaction and comply with company rules, policies, standard operating procedures, and the employee handbook.
