About The Position

Northeast Security, Inc. is seeking a Shuttle Driver for a large Boston-area university. The driver transports university students between campuses and performs related safety, reporting, vehicle-care, and customer-service duties. The part-time schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at a pay rate of $30.25 per hour. Candidates must complete the required background and drug screenings and orientation; positions may be rescinded if background requirements are not passed.

Requirements

Previous shuttle-driving experience.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record for five years or more.
Previous customer-service experience or related field/education.
Neat and professional appearance.
Dependable means of transportation.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both written and verbal.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
At least 18 years of age.
Successfully pass all pre-employment background and drug screenings.

Nice To Haves

Customer-service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Drive a shuttle van transporting university students from one campus to another.
Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity.
Communicate with local law enforcement units and fire departments as necessary.
Write detailed reports about incidents that occur during the shift.
Properly use, complete, and submit forms associated with shuttle-driving activities and duties.
Maintain the shuttle vehicle, including routine or corrective maintenance, vacuuming, and car washing.
Comply with requirements and directives in the on-site operations manual and post orders.
Assume other duties as required by the client or Northeast Security, Inc.
